Being a big fan of the Harry Potter books AND of theme parks, I am so excited about the new Diagon Alley theme park which will be built in Universal’s ‘Island of Adventure’ in Orlando, expected to open in 2010. You will be able to walk through Diagon Alley, visit the magic shops and restaurants and generally feel like you are in the magic world…I sincerely hope there will be a Florean Fortescue ice cream parlour! You’ll be pleased to hear that J.K.Rowling is involved with the design and has said that she would like everyone to enter the street through the Leaky Cauldron (!) and as well as that, there will be the Forbidden Forest and Hogwarts, with rides and attractions:
