Hot Wax Batik Fabric

This cotton fabric has been painted with hot wax (made by melting wax crayons) and then dyed to produce the cool ‘cracked’ effect. I think the technique is really impressive and would be great fun to do – and then you can use the resulting fabric to make a one-of-a-kind pillow or bag!
