This cable pattern is very similar to the basic cables I demonstrated previously, except it includes both a front cross & a back cross to keep one strand of the cable at the forefront and one strand in the background.

Rather than twisting around each other, the 2 strands of the cable therefore appear like flat wavy lines; one on top of the other.

I've shown examples in a super bulky yarn and in a DK yarn for comparison purposes.
